Insta360 Link 2 & Link 2C
Insta360 Link 2 and Link 2C are USB webcams for video meetings, teaching and streaming. Both combine a 1/2-inch sensor with 4K video and software-assisted framing and audio. Their main difference is how the camera follows you.
Link 2 or Link 2C?
The official comparison shows Link 2 on a motorised gimbal that physically pans and tilts. Link 2C has a fixed body and adjusts the picture digitally. Someone presenting while moving around a room may value the gimbal; a desk-based caller may prefer the smaller fixed camera.
DeskView also differs: Link 2 tilts toward the desk, while Link 2C requires you to position its mount manually.
AI audio and presentation features
The cameras offer AI noise cancellation with Voice Focus, Voice Suppression and Music Balance modes. Choose the mode for the room and the sound you want to preserve rather than assuming the strongest suppression always sounds best.
Whiteboard features and gesture controls help switch between a presenter and visual material. AI framing can keep people in the picture without constant manual adjustment.
Software and compatibility
Advanced effects such as Natural Bokeh and virtual backgrounds depend on the host computer and the Link Controller software. Check the current operating-system and graphics requirements for the exact feature you need. Your meeting platform can also limit the resolution other participants receive, even when the camera supports 4K.
Choosing a setup
Start with your working distance, movement and lighting. A short test call will show whether tracking follows the right person and whether noise processing preserves speech naturally. For a shared room, Link 2 can also work with a separately purchased Insta360 Wave speakerphone. Compare the exact model name when shopping because similarly named Pro models are separate products.
