DokuBrain
DokuBrain combines document extraction with workflows for moving the results into other business tools. You can upload invoices, contracts or receipts, choose an extraction template, validate the fields and route the resulting data to an accounting system or spreadsheet. It also supports document chat, translation and reports based on extracted information.
Intake, templates and extraction
The DokuBrain product page lists dashboard upload, email, WhatsApp, watched Google Drive folders, a Chrome extension and API ingestion. It describes inputs including PDF, DOCX and images. Automatic classification selects a document type and matching template; users can start with a supplied schema or build a custom one.
Extraction covers key-value pairs and tables. Fields include confidence scores, and low-confidence values can be flagged for review. Examples range from invoice line items and payment terms to resume experience and contract renewal dates. A template is therefore part of the workflow definition, rather than simply a label attached to a file.
Route data and manage reviews
DokuBrain can push extracted data to QuickBooks, Xero and Google Sheets. Its visual builder connects classification, extraction, validation, comparison and export steps. Watched Drive folders can trigger processing as files arrive, while reports can run daily, weekly or monthly.
Human review nodes support deadlines and automatic escalation. The product page describes a central queue ordered by urgency, with in-app and email alerts when an approval deadline is breached. A finance workflow could therefore hold an invoice for approval before pushing it into accounting. Field-level comparison and rule-based matching support tasks such as checking invoices against purchase orders or comparing contract revisions.
Document questions and access costs
Document chat can cover one file or the entire corpus, with answers that include source citations. DokuBrain also offers full-document translation into more than fifty languages and an embeddable chat widget that answers from the document corpus. Review the cited passage when a response will affect an accounting entry or document decision.
The captured Free plan includes one hundred credits per month, two team members, one gigabyte of storage and a twenty-five-megabyte maximum file size. Purchased Free-plan credits are listed at $15 per thousand and do not expire. Pro is listed at $49 per month with five thousand credits, ten team members, twenty gigabytes of storage and a hundred-megabyte file limit; additional credits cost $12 per thousand.
