In one lineKinovi offers a browser studio and REST API for image, video, and audio generation, using a shared pay-as-you-go credit balance.

Kinovi combines a browser generation studio with an API for applications that need image, video, or audio output. It is operated by Vixion Technology Limited and explicitly describes itself as independent of third-party AI model providers. Access through Kinovi should not be confused with a direct account at the company behind a listed model.

A studio and API using the same balance

The browser studio lets users work with the platform's generation models without building an integration first. Developers can use the REST API for a more repeatable workflow. Studio and API usage draw on the same account and credit balance, so experimental browser jobs affect the funds available to an application.

The API documentation describes an asynchronous task flow: createTask submits a job, and recordInfo returns its result. An integration needs to track task status rather than assume the initial request immediately contains a finished file. Input fields vary by model, so a request that works for one generation option is not necessarily interchangeable with another.

Kinovi lists multiple providers and generation formats. Check the particular model's supported inputs and output settings before treating the service as a replacement for an existing production endpoint. Availability in a third-party catalog does not by itself establish identical features, terms, or service commitments to the model maker's own product.

Credits depend on the generation settings

The pricing page lists a Starter purchase of 2,150 credits for $9.99, with larger packages including 21,500 credits for $99.90 and 215,000 for $999.90. These are one-time purchases rather than a promise of a fixed number of finished videos. Purchased credits do not expire.

Exact credit use depends on the model, variant, duration, and other generation settings. Compare the cost of the actual job you intend to run, including its length and output choices, before estimating a monthly workload. Sharing the balance across Studio and API makes it particularly useful to separate testing costs from routine application usage.

Check inputs and rights before connecting a workflow

The documentation describes public input URLs or uploads to Kinovi storage. Confirm which route the selected model requires, and do not make confidential assets public merely to satisfy an input field. Review retention, access, and commercial-use terms before uploading customer material.

Start with a small job that exercises the same input format and settings as the intended workload. Inspect the output and error handling before automating a larger batch; a model's appearance in the catalog is not a quality guarantee for a specific project.
