Ophiry is a company knowledge-base tool that turns uploaded documents into wiki articles, then uses those articles to answer questions for employees or clients. Its workflow includes a human approval step before the proposed knowledge structure and content are shared.

Documents become reviewable articles

The official product page describes an AI Editor-in-Chief that proposes a table of contents and writes articles from manuals, policies and procedures. It includes source references so a reviewer can check where the information came from. The vendor says the wiki updates when the underlying documents change.

That makes it relevant to teams whose information is scattered across long files. An HR handbook, support manual or client engagement can become a more navigable set of answers, provided the original material is accurate and the organization reviews what the system extracts.

Answers and access boundaries

The assistant answers from the wiki and shows its sources. Ophiry says readers see only the content allowed for their client or group, and that unanswered questions can reveal gaps in the knowledge base.

A useful pilot would include ordinary questions, questions the documents cannot answer, and requests that cross an access boundary. Check the cited passage as well as the wording of the answer. A source link makes verification easier, but does not by itself prove that an interpretation is correct.

Practical setup and data claims

The site offers a 14-day trial without a card and supports PDF, Word and text documents. It says customers can export their information and use their own AI key. The vendor also states that documents are stored in Germany and are not used to train AI models.

Those data-handling statements should be checked against the agreement and configuration selected for a business deployment. Start with a small, non-sensitive document set and verify the review process, update behavior and permissions before expanding it to operational or client material.
