Adgentek adds labelled ad placements to conversational AI apps
Adgentek gives AI app publishers a way to sell advertising inside a conversational interface. Its publisher page describes an ad server that places a labelled unit in an app’s own interface while the assistant’s response continues to stream.
A placement the publisher controls
Publishers choose where the ad slot appears, including after a response or during a commercially relevant exchange. Adgentek says the placement renders in the publisher’s DOM, uses its styling and carries a visible Sponsored label. The page describes contextual cards, guided question-and-answer units and action cards among its available formats.
The page also lists inline mentions, so teams should verify the specific format they enable against their own separation between editorial answers and advertising. A broad product description alone does not settle that implementation choice.
Targeting and demand
Adgentek says it classifies a conversation into a topic, intent category and decision stage. Advertisers receive derived signals and aggregate performance rather than raw prompts or transcripts. The service still reads conversation text to make its decision; publishers should account for that processing when deciding what they send.
Demand moves through direct campaigns, programmatic buyers, CPC feeds and outcome-priced budgets. Reporting includes fill, eCPM and revenue by slot. Those reports can help a publisher compare advertising income with inference costs, but the page does not establish a guaranteed revenue level for an individual app.
Integration and failure behaviour
The documented web integration uses a JavaScript SDK, a real publisher API key and a slot identifier. Adgentek says the ad request runs alongside the model completion. A late decision leaves the slot empty so the conversation can continue.
React, iOS and Android SDKs are described as in development. Headless agents and voice services require direct contact. A useful first evaluation would check labelling, data sent with a request and behaviour when the ad endpoint fails, before expanding placements.
