Charming hosts shared apps built in an AI conversation
Turn a chat-built app into a shared tool
Charming hosts collaborative apps built with supported AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT. The AI writes the code, while Charming provides hosting and a place to share the resulting app. The homepage demonstrates a lending library that several people can update through different interfaces.
The important feature is persistence: an app can remember a saved book, workout entry or trip detail when reopened on a phone or in another chat. That makes it more than a one-off generated screen, although a sample library does not demonstrate how every custom app will behave.
Separate using an app from changing its design
Charming distinguishes view, use and edit access. A person with use access can add or change data without changing how the app works. Apps are private until the owner invites people or makes them public, according to the product’s description.
The platform also lists scheduled runs, API connections, saved-version restoration and browser access. For a small shared workflow, those features could make it possible to start with a simple app and adjust it as the group learns what it needs.
Compare allowances before relying on it
The free personal plan advertises unlimited apps, 1 GB of storage and ten saved versions per app. Pro is listed at $8 per month with larger storage and history allowances. The team plan starts at $14 per seat per month with a three-seat minimum. The AI provider’s own plan and usage limits remain separate.
A useful first project is a small shared record with clear permissions, such as a household library or an event checklist. Test who can see, update and redesign it, then confirm that saved information survives a return visit. App count alone is not the full constraint; storage, history, AI usage and the behavior of the generated code all matter to the eventual workflow.
