Nodalist
Nodalist is a visual workspace for organizing ideas and exploring them with AI. The official overview describes connected nodes, branching decisions, file context, multi-model discussion and cited web research. It is relevant when a problem has several alternatives or dependencies that are hard to follow in a single chat thread.
Build and branch the problem
You place ideas on a canvas and connect them into a structure. Breakdown generates sub-nodes, Decision proposes options and clarifying questions, and Generative expands an idea.
Define the decision and constraints yourself before expanding the graph. A larger map does not establish that every relevant alternative has been considered. Inspect generated assumptions and keep unsupported options distinguishable from facts.
The product describes small-file text inclusion and retrieval-based handling of larger files. File uploads and storage belong to paid plans, so the homepage's broad file capabilities should not be assumed to be available in the free account.
Debate ideas and inspect research
AI Storming brings several models into a moderated discussion and produces a structured report of ideas and disagreements. Multiple model responses can broaden an exploration, but agreement between them is not independent confirmation of a claim.
AI Grounding turns a research question into a plan for approval before it runs. The publisher describes topic-level credit estimates, source selection records and an optional synthesized report with citations.
Use those records to inspect the sources, including material the system discarded. The product's self-assessed quality scores express its evaluation process, not a guarantee that the research is complete or every cited conclusion is sound.
Match the plan to the work
The pricing page lists a free plan with 250 monthly credits, five workspaces, PNG export and one Grounding session per day. Credits cover AI operations at differing costs, rather than representing an exact number of completed research reports.
Starter adds file uploads up to 25 MB, one gigabyte of storage, OCR and PNG or PDF export. Pro lists higher limits and folder nodes with retrieval-based search. Confirm the plan before organizing a large document collection.
One-time top-up credits are advertised as non-expiring. Monthly and annual billing selections have different displayed amounts; do not treat an annual monthly-equivalent amount as a month-to-month commitment.
Nodalist's source descriptions support structured exploration and evidence inspection. This article does not claim a tested research result, guaranteed preservation of every context detail or a verified answer merely because several models discussed it.
