NextPhone is an AI receptionist for law firms and service businesses. It answers calls using information about the business and its website, asks intake questions, books appointments, and passes calls to the team when needed. You can use it for all calls or for periods such as after hours, weekends, and overflow.

Define how callers are handled

The official workflow uses caller-specific playbooks. Its law-firm example separates new clients, existing clients, court or counsel calls, and general questions. A new caller can complete intake and book a consultation; an existing client can be routed to an attorney with context.

The receptionist can answer questions from the business website and arrange a callback. After a call, the team can review intake answers, an appointment, a transcript, and an AI summary in the dashboard. The product also remembers repeat callers and can use previously gathered information during a later conversation.

Connect the business line and calendar

You can forward an existing number to NextPhone or obtain a new local number. The publisher lists appointment booking into Google and Outlook calendars, plus booking services such as Calendly, Acuity, and Cal.com. Confirmation links and follow-up messages can be sent to callers.

The service offers 30 voice choices and 14 languages. Growth and Scale add CRM updates and automation connections, with examples including HubSpot, Clio, Zapier, Make, webhooks, and an API. The iOS app lets customers see calls, transcripts, and notifications.

Choose setup and routing support

The monthly pricing lists Pro at $199, Growth at $299, and Scale at $599. All three list unlimited calls and users, without per-minute charges. Pro is self-configured. Growth includes vendor-built setup, testing, and tuning.

Scale adds custom call flows, a directory of up to 500 transfer contacts, and custom integrations. Its two-way texting and outbound calling use the business number. The publisher offers a seven-day trial and says customers can cancel month-to-month service without cancellation fees.
