Glasp

Lets you highlight and save quotes from web pages and PDFs, organise your notes and get AI summaries of YouTube videos.

What it does

Glasp lets you highlight passages on web pages and in PDFs, then collects those quotes and notes on your Glasp page. It also creates AI summaries of YouTube videos and articles, for readers who want to keep and revisit what they learn online.

Key features

  • Highlights text on websites and PDFs in several colours
  • Shows all highlights and notes in a sidebar that jumps back to each spot
  • Lets you tag, search, link and share highlights to other platforms
  • Summarizes YouTube videos, articles and PDFs using a choice of AI models
  • Shows what other readers highlighted on the same page

Use cases

  • Building a searchable collection of quotes from articles you read
  • Getting the gist of a long YouTube talk before deciding to watch
  • Sharing key passages from a report with colleagues

Getting started

Select text on a page or PDF and choose a highlight colour, then open the sidebar or your Glasp homepage to review and tag what you saved.

Good to know

Highlights sync to a Glasp account, and other users may see what you highlight on public pages. Summaries send content to third-party AI models.
