What does “CFG scale” mean?

CFG scale: Setting that controls how strictly a diffusion model follows the prompt. Higher values push the output to match the text more literally; lower values give the model more freedom. Too high often produces oversaturated colors or harsh artifacts, so moderate values are typical.
