Decision model

Also called decision models

What does “Decision model” mean?

Decision model: AI model that chooses instead of writing. Given some context, a question and a fixed list of answers, it returns a probability for every answer in a single call, with no text generated. That makes it much faster and cheaper than a language model, and its confidence can be checked: an app can act only when the model is sure and ask a person when it is not.

What is an example of “Decision model”?

A support app asks a decision model which team should handle a message (billing, orders, technical support or not enough information) and routes it automatically when billing comes back at 86%.
