Prediction
What does “Prediction” mean?
Prediction: In machine learning, any output a model produces for a given input, not just a forecast about the future. It could be a label, a number, a probability or the next word. Predictions are educated guesses based on learned patterns, so they can be wrong.
What is an example of “Prediction”?
A spam filter predicting "spam" for an email and a language model predicting the next word are both predictions.
