What does “Training” mean?
Training: Teaching a model by showing it many examples and repeatedly adjusting its internal numbers to reduce its mistakes. For large models this step is slow and expensive, often running on many specialized chips for weeks, and it happens before the model is released.
What is an example of “Training”?
An image classifier is trained on thousands of labeled photos before it can sort new ones.
