offprompt
Enter a secret in a local browser form while keeping its value out of the agent transcript.
Overview
offprompt starts a local MCP process that opens a browser form for a requested credential. The form passes the value to offprompt, which writes it to the configured file. The credential is kept out of the model conversation during that transfer.
Getting started
Use the repository’s supported Node setup, then configure the project or user-level MCP integration for your client.
Things to know
The project does not protect a destination file after writing it. Its permissions and storage are separate concerns.
