YazSes MCP
Let an assistant ask for spoken input through the on-device YazSes speech-to-text workflow.
Overview
YazSes is an on-device dictation project with a local MCP server. Its documented ask_human tool gives a compatible client a way to request spoken input. This can be useful for a workflow that needs a person’s answer before it continues. The publisher also describes an optional handoff feature and documents the separate desktop dictation application.
Getting started
Follow the local stdio or MCP bundle instructions for the supported client. Check microphone access and try the speech-to-text setup on the intended operating system.
Things to know
The publisher labels macOS and Windows support as preview-level. Local speech recognition and the optional handoff workflow have different data and setup paths.
