FigJam Context MCP
Turn a FigJam board into local, searchable context with source links for notes, tables and images.
Overview
FigJam Context MCP reads a board through Figma’s REST API, groups its material and stores a local snapshot. An assistant can search that context, read sections with links to the underlying Figma material, and compare snapshots after the board changes. The workflow is useful when a large workshop board contains evidence that needs to be retrieved in pieces rather than pasted into a prompt.
Getting started
Use Node.js 22.12 or newer. Configure a Figma token with access to the file and review which model endpoint the image and text interpretation steps will use.
Things to know
Access depends on the token and the board. The clustering and reading order are designed around FigJam. The project documents separate limits for interpretation, including the availability of the selected model.
