Chromeleon MCP
Drive the Chromeleon browser from Claude Code, with tab identifiers, page reads and traffic recording.
Overview
Chromeleon MCP is a Claude Code plugin that controls the project’s Chromium-based browser through its DevTools interface. It can enumerate tabs, read a page, send pointer and keyboard input and record traffic. Those capabilities support workflows where an assistant needs to inspect the state of a page across multiple actions. The project uses its own browser release and can use separate profiles.
Getting started
Install the Claude Code plugin from the project repository and follow its browser setup. The docs also describe pointing the plugin at an already installed Chromeleon executable.
Things to know
The browser release is a substantial download. Profiles can retain cookies and logins. Review the profile and tool permissions before using it with signed-in sites.
