Polydev MCP

Ask an additional model from the assistant you already use, through a hosted or local MCP server.

Overview

Polydev lets an MCP client send a task to a different model and receive its answer in the same session. The client’s own model remains the one coordinating the work. The project documents a hosted connector and a local package, with different options for provider access. A typical use is to send the same migration or design question to another model for a second view.

Use this endpoint in an MCP client that supports remote servers. Follow the project documentation for authentication and permissions.

Getting started

Add the hosted connector and complete its OAuth flow, or follow the Node.js setup for the local server. Check the provider and billing choice before sending requests.

Things to know

Some capabilities, including the documented image generation and use of existing local CLI sign-ins, are described for the local setup. Provider access varies with configuration.
