Honey
Guide an agent toward smaller code changes and concise technical explanations.
Overview
Honey is an editing and coding skill with guidance for reducing avoidable code and prose. It favors built-in features and the standard library where they fit, while retaining identifiers and the technical details a reader needs. The documented modes adjust how much explanation to keep. It also distinguishes messages for a person from messages intended for another agent.
Getting started
Use the project’s named Honey skill file with a compatible agent. Give it the coding or explanation task and select an intensity if you want to override the default.
Things to know
The skill provides judgment rules for writing and implementation. It does not measure a particular repository’s cost savings or replace the tests a change needs.
