code-review

Review a code change against both repository standards and the originating specification using a defined comparison point.

Overview

This skill organizes a code review around two questions: whether a change follows the repository’s documented standards and whether it implements the originating specification. Its instructions start by resolving a fixed comparison point and identifying the relevant diff, specification and standards documents. The source directs separate agent reviews for the two questions and then aggregates their findings. It is useful when a reviewer wants the implementation assessed against concrete project requirements. A missing specification or invalid comparison point is treated as missing review context rather than silently replaced with an invented requirement.

Getting started

Follow the repository’s skill setup instructions. Supply a branch, commit, tag or other comparison point, along with access to the relevant specification and project standards.

Compatibility and requirements

The documented workflow expects Git access and an agent environment that can run the separate review agents it describes.

Things to know

The quality and coverage of the review depend on the available specification and repository standards. An agent review does not establish that the change is free of defects.
