Candidately's AI Resume Builder is designed for staffing firms processing candidate resumes. The official product page focuses on turning a raw CV or ATS record into an agency-branded submission. Its task differs from helping an individual job seeker invent or write a resume from scratch.
Parse first, then check the record
The product describes extracting names, employment history, education, skills and certifications. Its FAQ lists PDF, DOCX, RTF, plain text and LinkedIn exports; scanned PDFs go through OCR. The illustrated upload control is narrower, showing PDF and DOCX with a 5 MB limit, so confirm the actual intake route for another format or a larger file.
Review the extracted dates, employers and qualifications against the source before editing. An apparently structured candidate record can still contain an incorrect field, and the publisher's parse-accuracy claim is not an independent measurement for your agency's documents.
Bullhorn integration reads candidate records and returns the formatted document. The FAQ also names other ATS platforms, but a broad integration total does not prove that every system offers the same connection or plan entitlement. Keep the ATS and submission version consistent.
Write a useful recruiter summary
Natural-language edits can shorten a summary, emphasize experience or remove a section. The FAQ says the recruiter approves or rejects an edit before it changes the document. Use that review to check the candidate's actual experience rather than approving persuasive wording merely because it fits a client brief.
Saved prompts can be shared with the team, and templates hold logos, fonts, colors, headers and disclaimers. Those tools can support consistent presentation, but a reusable prompt should not add an achievement or skill the candidate never supplied.
The product also describes translation and anonymization of names, contact details, photos and employer names. Inspect the resulting document for remaining identifiers and meaning changes. A one-click label does not establish complete de-identification or legal compliance.
Review the client-ready export
Exports include branded PDF and editable Word files, alongside return to the ATS. The Client Portal is a separate Candidately product with its own custom pricing; do not assume it is included in the resume builder. Check pagination, headings and the exact candidate version before sharing it with a client.
