Arcmira
Arcmira searches YouTube videos and podcast transcripts to help you find what someone said and return to the original moment. Its official documentation describes searches for quotes, mentions and media appearances, with alerts for subjects you follow. You can use it to research a topic or give an AI assistant access to spoken source material.
Search conversations and check the source
Searches start with a word or phrase. Arcmira returns passages with the transcript text, video, date and a link to the relevant moment. That makes it useful for building a shortlist of interview excerpts or checking how a person discussed a subject before quoting them.
The API supports filters for entities and channels. Its name-resolution endpoint helps distinguish people, brands or shows with similar names before a search applies those filters. Ambiguous matches can require clarification, so selecting the right person matters as much as finding matching words.
Connect an assistant or build a workflow
Arcmira offers an MCP server, HTTP API and SDKs. Its documentation names Claude Code, Codex and Cursor among the agents that can connect through its setup process. Developers can also use the command-line package, TypeScript client or Python client to work with search results in their own applications.
Monitoring supports alerts by email, Slack or webhook. This could help a researcher follow new appearances by a particular speaker or track mentions of a company. Commercial intelligence, including sponsor information, ad reads and recommendations, is included from the Pro+ tier.
Plans and usage
At the time of checking, the pricing page lists Pro at $20 per month after a seven-day trial, with 20,000 monthly credits and ten monitored names. Pro+ costs $60 per month after a discounted first month and includes 60,000 credits and 30 monitored names. Ultra lists 400,000 credits and 200 monitored names for $200 per month.
Teams share an account's credit balance. Additional on-demand credits cost $0.002 each, subject to monthly limits set by an administrator. Match the plan to the searches, transcripts and monitoring you expect to use; the headline credit allowance alone does not describe every workload.
Coverage and practical limits
Arcmira is most useful when you need traceable passages from recorded conversations. Open the linked recording and check the surrounding discussion before publishing a quote or drawing a conclusion about a speaker's position.
Coverage also affects interpretation. The homepage demonstration explicitly uses recorded evidence, and its notes explain that channel coverage and ingestion changes can affect topic comparisons. Treat counts as a view of indexed material rather than a measure of public opinion. A useful first evaluation is to search for a speaker and topic you know, check the returned timestamps, and confirm that the relevant channels are covered.
