Start with words or audio
The documented sequence begins with uploading audio or pasting text. Hypnotype handles transcription and timing, then lets you choose a layout and customize colors and typography. The product's focus is the read-along format: viewers see the words as they hear them.
For a podcast, that offers a route to a video presentation of existing audio without arranging a filmed recording. For a writer, it offers a way to repurpose a script into a text-led video. Review the generated wording and synchronization before publishing, particularly names or technical terms that would be distracting if transcribed incorrectly.
Select a layout for the destination
Hypnotype offers seven templates across 16:9 landscape and 9:16 portrait formats. Some place bold words on a solid background; others combine text with a portrait, waveform, cover art or audio spectrum. The page associates landscape layouts with YouTube, podcasts and sales pages, and portrait layouts with Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
The export is an MP4. Choose the format around the destination and the amount of text a viewer must read. The publisher's promises of higher retention and faster production are marketing claims; the captured evidence does not include independent measurements of either.
Check file length and export limits
The pricing screen advertises a seven-day trial on paid plans. Creator lists 720p output and a 30-minute limit per audio file. Pro lists 1080p output, a two-hour audio-file limit and priority rendering. Both list all templates, unwatermarked output and a commercial license.
Credits meter transcription at 100 credits per minute of audio. The captured screen displays limited-license annual deals with multiple price figures, so confirm the actual charge and offer conditions at checkout. Resolution and per-file duration are useful plan distinctions to verify before bringing a long episode into the workflow.
