The official overview describes specifying the data needed, letting an AI agent explore a website and identify fields, then creating a reusable bot. Users can run that bot with parameters, ask for another field, and send structured results to an existing workflow.
Advertised research tasks include product prices and ratings, business listings, public posts and reviews, job-market data, and source URLs. The platform lists CSV, JSON, APIs, webhooks, Make, n8n, and Zapier as output or integration routes. Review a sample of returned rows against the source pages before treating a repeated run as dependable data.
Cloud bots and local execution
The pricing explanation distinguishes an adaptive Bot-Agent from a Bot Workflow that follows predefined browser steps. Building an adaptive bot generally uses more credits than rerunning it, while the documented workflow usage is step-based. Those are separate execution approaches, not interchangeable promises of one fixed cost per extraction.
Cloud SaaS runs bots in BrowserAct-managed browsers. Local CLI execution runs on the user's machine without a BrowserAct runtime fee; optional BrowserAct browser and proxy services can still consume credits. This distinction does not mean every local task has zero total cost or that an external agent's model usage is included.
The publisher advertises fresh sessions, persistent signed-in profiles, scheduling, and adaptation to changed page layouts. Its broad reliability and access claims are not proof that every website permits automation or that every extraction will succeed. Use the product only where you are authorized to access and collect the information.
Credits and evaluation
The free plan lists signup credits and free agent builds, while paid plans increase credits and simultaneous-task limits. Build estimates, run estimates, workflow steps, and optional services draw on the credit balance. The pricing page explicitly says actual bot usage varies with the website and task complexity.
Check the selected billing period, add-ons, and concurrency allowance rather than interpreting a headline monthly equivalent as the full payment schedule. The captured prices include both monthly and yearly offers.
A practical evaluation uses one permitted site, a small dataset, and clearly named fields. Check missing values, source URLs, repeated-run consistency, and credit consumption before scheduling a larger job.
