CraftMusic
CraftMusic lets you turn a prompt or your own lyrics into a song draft with vocals or instrumental-only music. Its workspace also includes lyric writing and tools for refining existing audio. You can start with written direction, then compare generated tracks before deciding which draft to keep.
Give the track a specific direction
The music generator accepts genre, mood, instrument, production, and vocal-style instructions. Its interface shows prompt and own-lyrics modes, plus an instrumental option. If you already have a chorus or verse, the publisher says you can paste it into the generator and add musical direction.
The separate lyrics tool develops themes, titles, or rough stories into hooks, verses, and choruses. Review the words before generating a full track, especially if the song includes a brand message or names that need clear pronunciation. A coherent lyric and a fitting arrangement are separate checks.
CraftMusic publishes example tracks with descriptions of their instrumentation and structure. Listen for the changes you need in your own draft, such as a quieter verse or a fuller chorus, rather than judging the service only by a genre label. Its examples are publisher-selected samples, not a promise of identical results for every prompt.
Continue with an editing workflow
CraftMusic advertises stem separation and mastering, alongside audio-to-MIDI conversion and a browser MIDI editor. The conversion description includes MP3, WAV, vocals, melodies, and instrument recordings. These functions offer ways to continue working with a draft or an existing recording instead of generating a replacement from scratch.
Check what the selected tool exports and what your plan permits before building a production workflow around it. The FAQ says download availability depends on both the tool and plan. Keep a copy of your own lyrics and source audio, and review the resulting file in the editor or playback environment you intend to use.
Match the plan to publishing rights
The pricing page lists a free plan with 20 monthly credits and one music generation per month. It is marked for personal use. That is a limited test allocation, not an unlimited music library for commercial releases.
Paid plans include commercial licenses. The displayed Basic offer is $10.49 per month with $125.92 billed yearly, 2,000 monthly credits, and 100 monthly generations. Standard and Premium increase generation allowances and concurrent tasks. The page also has monthly and pay-once options, so verify the selected purchase term instead of assuming the displayed monthly equivalent is a month-to-month charge.
For monetized videos, client work, ads, or public releases, check the active plan's commercial terms and your rights to any submitted lyrics or recordings. A commercial plan does not resolve permissions for material owned by someone else.
