Beeble

Beeble is a VFX workspace for changing and finishing existing footage. The official site combines a node-based Canvas with tools for relighting, background removal, frame expansion and generated imagery. Its 3D Relight workflow turns footage into a relightable subject in a browser 3D scene; the current product is broader than a general-purpose video conversion tool.

Choose how to change the shot

SwitchX applies a reference or prompt to an image or video. Its alpha mask controls the transformation: white areas retain the source subject's shape, motion and expression while being relit or restyled; black areas are generated. Inspect the subject and the changed area together before accepting the composite.

SwitchX and 3D Relight provide different controls. SwitchX generates a reference-driven look; 3D Relight lets the user place and adjust lights. Choose the workflow based on whether you need a scene transformation or hands-on lighting control.

Canvas chains tools and models as nodes, with branching and version comparisons. Keep intermediate results so you can review which operation changed a face, edge or lighting detail.

Extract a matte before compositing

Background Remover accepts images, video and image sequences. It provides a keyframe preview and Edit Alpha before the full extraction, followed by grayscale alpha or transparent RGBA downloads.

The documentation distinguishes MatAnyone for ordinary footage from CorridorKey for green-screen keying. File type, frame count and resolution limits differ from those of SwitchX. For example, SwitchX documents exclusions for ProRes 4444 and variable-frame-rate exports; do not apply its input rules to every Beeble tool.

Review fine edges and movement through the whole clip rather than judging only the preview. A generated matte still needs inspection in the actual composite.

Reframe and budget the output

Reframe expands an image or video to another aspect ratio with a reference-guided surrounding scene. Users can position, scale or crop the source before generation. Its docs specify frame limits and plan-dependent resolution; 2160p output requires Professional.

Reframe charges against the Beeble credit pool by output frames and resolution. Other tools have their own rates. Confirm the chosen export, clip length and plan before estimating multiple iterations.

Beeble markets source preservation and commercial use, but those statements do not establish artifact-free output or clear every uploaded asset's rights. Compare source and result frame by frame, obtain the needed permissions, and check the applicable license before delivering a finished shot.
