Spinthewheel
Build the choices before spinning
Spinthewheel is a browser-based random picker with an AI wheel generator. You can enter choices yourself or ask the generator to suggest options for a subject. The official page presents it for classroom turns, party games and small decisions such as choosing a meal.
The AI assists with the list of options. It does not turn a random selection into a reasoned recommendation. Review the proposed list before using it, particularly when participants need to agree on which choices belong in the draw.
Adjust the rules and presentation
The wheel supports option weights and slice images. Giving an option a different weight changes its intended chance, so equal chances require consistent settings across the list. The page also documents full-screen presentation, sound controls and automatic winner elimination.
Automatic elimination removes a selected option from subsequent spins. That can help a teacher cycle through a group or keep a party activity from repeating a winner. Winner history provides a record of selections, and the interface includes a winner-list download.
For a group activity, explain whether a name can win again and show the list before the first spin. A clear rule is easier to assess than a colorful animation.
Share a wheel with its settings
The publisher says wheels save in the browser without an account. Share links carry the wheel's title, colors and choices so recipients can load the same setup. The site describes the tool as free, with unlimited spins.
Use a sample wheel before an event to check the display and controls on the device you will present from. Avoid putting information in a shared wheel that participants should not receive. The useful output is an agreed random choice from a reviewed list, rather than a claim that the selected option is objectively best.
