In one lineFoca Upscaler offers Sharp and Physics enhancement modes, batch processing, and plan-dependent output resolutions up to 16K.

Foca Upscaler is an AI image enhancement tool with two modes and a comparison preview. You upload an image, select the mode and output resolution, then inspect and download the result. The official Foca page lists JPG, PNG, and WebP inputs and outputs up to 16K, subject to the chosen plan.

Choosing an enhancement mode

Foca Sharp targets graphics and text, with an emphasis on preserving the original look. Foca Physics targets fine-detail and texture reconstruction. The interface lists Sharp at one credit and Physics at fifteen credits.

Choose the mode according to the material you need to improve. A logo with small lettering presents a different problem from a portrait or fabric texture. Try a representative image and inspect the areas that matter before processing a larger group.

Comparing the result with the source

The workspace provides a before-and-after comparison. Foca promotes texture recovery for portraits, product photos, architectural images, and 3D renders. Those are intended uses, not evidence that reconstructed details match the original subject.

For a portrait, check identity and facial detail. For a product photo, inspect lettering, edges, and material texture. Enlarging an image can make changes more visible, so compare the result at the size you intend to use rather than judging only the small preview.

Selecting resolution and volume

The pricing page lists Starter output up to 4K, Pro up to 8K, and Elite up to 16K. All three list batch processing. Higher tiers also have different credit allowances and task queues.

Match the output size to the intended use. A higher ceiling does not by itself establish greater fidelity for an image. If the project involves many files, compare both mode cost and credit allowance before starting the batch.

Reading the billing option

The displayed discounted prices correspond to yearly billing, with annual credits issued upfront. Monthly and pay-as-you-go options are also listed. Confirm the selected interval and total charge at checkout, rather than treating a monthly equivalent as the amount billed each month.

The page advertises a free start. Use that opportunity to evaluate your own source material and the comparison controls before selecting a plan.
