Overview
Alien MMO is an online browser and Android game where you raise a grey alien, fly UFOs and battle bosses and other pilots. This policy explains what the game collects and why. It keeps that to the minimum needed to run the game.
What the game collects
Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password. Your password is never stored in plain text.
Game data: your pilot name, alien, items, progress, battles, messages in your Captain's Log and other gameplay records.
Security data: your IP address and browser or app user agent on sign-in sessions, used to keep your account secure and to rate-limit abuse.
Push notifications (optional): if you turn them on, a push subscription address from your browser so the game can tell you when timers finish.
Device settings: preferences like sound and reduced motion are stored only on your device.
What the game doesn’t do
No ads, no ad tracking and no selling or sharing of your data.
No third-party analytics.
No real-money purchases. In-game credits, the Lunar Arcade and the stock exchange use fictional game currency only. The Lunar Arcade is skill-based and has no gambling.
Service providers
The game runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load. Push notifications are delivered by your browser's push service (for example Google for Chrome and Android).
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all game data at any time (see Delete your account below). Sign-in session records expire after 30 days.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Alien MMO account and all associated data (email, password hash, alien, items, progress, logs and push subscriptions) from inside the game:
1. Sign in to Alien MMO (website or Android app).
2. Open Settings → Account.
3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete account…, enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Nothing is kept afterwards, apart from anonymous server logs that expire automatically. You can also delete your account yourself at alien-mmo.4deleted.workers.dev/delete-account (self-service in any browser, no app needed).
Can’t sign in? Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, and your account will be deleted for you.
Children
Alien MMO is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
