BlockP

What it does

BlockP blocks adult websites, distracting sites and pages containing keywords you choose in Chrome, using AI to help detect unwanted content. It is for people trying to quit porn, avoid time-wasting sites or keep their browsing focused.

Key features

• Blocks access to a large list of porn and adult websites
• Enforces Safe Search on major search engines to filter explicit results
• Block any website or keyword you add, such as gambling or social media
• Blocked pages become inaccessible once the blocker is on

Use cases

• Breaking a habit of visiting adult sites
• Blocking social media during work or study hours
• Filtering explicit search results on a shared computer

Getting started

After installing, turn on the porn blocker in the extension and add any extra websites or keywords you want blocked.

Good to know

As a browser extension it only filters Chrome, and it reads the pages you visit to decide what to block. Determined users can switch it off, so it helps most alongside other habits.
