Kome

Summarizes articles, PDFs and YouTube videos in one click and saves highlights and pages to an organized bookmark library.

What it does

Kome summarizes news articles, PDFs and YouTube videos in one click and saves pages and snippets into a searchable bookmark library. It also uses your saved items to draft emails, posts and blog content, which suits readers and writers who collect material online.

Key features

  • One-click AI summaries of articles, news, PDF files and YouTube videos
  • Bookmark manager that saves content from any site without manual sorting
  • Search across everything you have saved to the library
  • Compose emails, tweets and blog posts from your bookmarks
  • Keyboard shortcut to open it on any page

Use cases

  • Saving research sources and finding them again later
  • Getting the main points of a long article before reading it
  • Writing a post based on links you have collected

Getting started

After installing, visit any page and press Alt+E on Windows or Cmd+E on macOS to open Kome and summarize or save the content.

Good to know

Page content is sent to an AI service to create summaries and drafts. Saved bookmarks are kept by Kome rather than in Chrome's own bookmarks.
