Chrome extension

Merlin

Puts several AI models in your browser to chat with page content, rewrite text, translate and summarize YouTube videos and documents.

What it does

Merlin adds an AI assistant to Chrome that gives access to models from several providers in one place. It is aimed at people who want to chat with a web page, rewrite text, translate, or summarize YouTube videos and documents without leaving the tab.

Key features

  • Lets you chat about the content of the web page you are reading
  • Summarizes YouTube videos and documents such as PDFs
  • Rewrites and translates text on any website in many languages
  • Brings content from open tabs, PDFs or cloud storage into a conversation
  • Includes extra utilities such as a code explainer, slide maker and voice-to-text

Use cases

  • Getting the gist of a long YouTube lecture before watching it
  • Rewording a social media post or email draft on the page
  • Comparing answers from different AI models on the same question

Getting started

Sign in with a Merlin account, then open the assistant on any page to ask questions, summarize content or rewrite selected text. The same account works across the developer's other apps.

Good to know

Page content and your prompts are sent to third-party AI models for processing. Check its Chrome Web Store page for current terms.
