QuickBooks Bridge
Read QuickBooks Online records and draft invoices with an explicit check on the approved total before writing.
Overview
QuickBooks Bridge is a Go reference implementation for connecting an assistant to QuickBooks Online. It separates customer and item lookup from drafting and creating an invoice. A creation request rebuilds the draft against current QuickBooks records and checks the total against the amount a person approved. The repository also contains a separate QuickBooks Desktop Web Connector example that exchanges qbXML.
Getting started
Follow the repository’s sandbox OAuth setup for the Online company, run the local Go MCP service and point the client at the documented localhost endpoint.
Things to know
The sample is scoped to one person and company. Ambiguous item matches require resolution. The project documents additional authentication and attribution work for production.
