Resolve npm versions, inspect package files and validate browser import maps through UNPKG.
Overview
UNPKG MCP helps a coding assistant examine real npm package versions and the files UNPKG can serve. It can resolve a version, inspect package contents, classify dependencies for browser use and check an import map. The publisher documents exact-version malware and vulnerability checks. Teams that connect a UNPKG Shield account can also inspect policies and observations from their verified domains.

Getting started
Add the remote MCP URL. The general tools work without an account. The publisher documents a separate browser OAuth flow for Shield organization access.
Things to know
Anonymous package safety checks have a smaller request limit than authenticated checks. Inspect the exact resolved version and the review state returned for a finding.
