Using AI for air traffic management is a huge deal, but I’m honestly a bit nervous about the accountability side of things. If the system makes a call that leads to a close call or a major delay, who’s actually responsible? We need to know how these models handle edge cases and if they're prone to any hidden biases in how they prioritize flights.
Are we sacrificing human intuition for efficiency, and is that trade-off actually worth it if transparency isn't baked into the process from day one? I hope they're being super careful here.
