AI Resumma
AI Resumma combines summarization and translation in a browser workspace. It accepts raw text, Word documents, PDFs, PowerPoint files, and web addresses. The service can help you get an initial overview of a long source, but a shorter output still needs to be checked against the document it describes.
Choose the source and inspect the summary
The interface separates text, document, slide, and article inputs. Its visible text field shows a 10,000-character counter. Check the relevant upload controls if your material exceeds that field or uses a different format; a document route should not be assumed to have the same limit.
Resumma describes a workflow of providing material, generating a summary, and reviewing or exporting the result. Use the overview to identify passages worth reading, then return to the original for important qualifications, figures, and quotations. The publisher's claim that essential context is retained is not a guarantee that an AI summary captures every exception.
For slides, inspect whether the summary preserves the relationship between captions and the material they explain. For a web article, confirm that the content summarized is the article itself rather than surrounding page text. Do not use a digest as a replacement for evidence in a legal, academic, or business decision.
Translation and credit formulas differ
The platform advertises translation across more than twenty languages, including text and images. Review translated names, technical language, and numbers before reusing the output.
The pricing page lists a Starter package of seventy credits for $7 and larger packages. Text and article summarization cost one credit per 1,000 characters, with a minimum of one. Word, PDF, and PowerPoint summarization use a file-size formula of one credit per 100KB, also with a minimum of one.
Image translation is listed at four credits per request. These different formulas mean a single credit estimate cannot describe every tool. Check the selected operation before running a batch. The pricing page says credits never expire.
Review the terms for sensitive documents
Resumma says it uses HTTPS for transfers and purges files from its servers after processing. Those are publisher policy claims rather than an audited guarantee that sensitive documents carry no risk. Check current privacy terms before uploading customer records or confidential work.
The pricing FAQ advertises a thirty-day money-back guarantee subject to its refund policy. Read that policy before buying instead of assuming all used credits are refundable. Keep a copy of the original source and distinguish the author's statements from the wording produced by the summarizer.
