In one lineeasl publishes files and agent output as temporary web pages, with format-specific viewers, API/CLI/MCP access and optional password or account gates.

easl turns supplied content into a shareable web page. Its official site presents it as a rendering layer for AI-agent output, though the same publishing methods can accept files and text from a developer's own scripts. Hosted access is described as free, with an open-source self-hosting option.

Match the viewer to the material

The documentation lists Markdown as styled prose, CSV as a sortable and filterable table, and JSON as a collapsible tree with syntax highlighting. Mermaid input becomes a diagram, SVG gets a sanitized zoomable viewer, and plain text uses a monospaced display. HTML is served as supplied.

That makes easl useful for sharing a report, inspecting structured output or sending someone a table they can sort in a browser. The service renders the material you provide; you still need to check the underlying figures and text before sharing them.

Publish through the interface your workflow uses

The REST API accepts content with a MIME type or an array of files and returns a URL. The documented response can also include expiration information, an Open Graph image, a QR code and embed markup.

The CLI supports files, directories and piped input. An MCP server provides publishing tools for compatible agents, along with tools to list or delete sites in the session. These are alternative integration paths to the same publishing workflow. Installation examples on the documentation page are setup instructions for users, rather than a requirement to execute them just to read a shared page.

Set access and lifetime deliberately

Anonymous sites expire after seven days by default. The documented limits are 50 files, 200 MB total size and 256 KB of inline content. The publish endpoint is also limited to ten requests per IP per hour.

Pages are public by default. You can add a password gate without an account, or use authenticated account-private access; the two gates can be combined. The documentation says gated pages skip indexing and edge caching. Choose these controls before uploading material, and retain the original file if the shared page needs to outlast its expiration.
