RemoveBGVideo
RemoveBGVideo separates a video's main subject from its background without requiring footage shot on a green screen. Upload a clip, inspect the preview, and choose a transparent output or a replacement background. The publisher describes use with people, pets and products, including creator content and product-focused clips.
Upload and inspect the cutout
The background-removal page accepts MP4, MOV and WebM files through upload or drag and drop. The documented upload limits are sixty minutes and five hundred megabytes per file, with processing up to 4K resolution. The AI analyzes individual frames to separate the subject from the surrounding image.
A preview lets you inspect the result before purchasing an export. Check moving edges and any areas where the subject blends into the background, since the preview is the concrete output available for judging your footage. The site's upload rules prohibit sexual or adult content, graphic violence, politically sensitive material and uploads containing minors, so check whether your intended footage fits its rules.
Transparent files or a new background
After removal, you can keep the background transparent, replace it with a solid color, or upload an image. Export options include transparent WebM, MOV with an alpha channel, PNG sequences, GIF and WebP. The homepage also says audio is preserved.
Choose the export format according to where you will use the clip. The product's emphasis on transparent outputs is useful for placing a cutout into a larger edit or overlay, while a replacement image gives you a finished background directly. The developer documentation index lists API workflow guides, authentication, job status, downloads, webhooks and Python and Node.js SDK references for teams integrating processing into an application.
Credits are spent on final exports
One credit pays for one second of processed video. The pricing page says credits are consumed only on final export and purchased credits do not expire. Its Basic pack is $12 for 180 credits, equivalent to three minutes. Standard is listed at $35 for 600 credits and Pro at $89 for 1,800; larger packs increase volume and batch-processing limits.
No monthly subscription is required. The refund FAQ says unused purchases may qualify within fourteen days, with separate eligibility for duplicate charges or qualifying technical failures. Quality differences already visible in the free preview are generally not refundable, which makes reviewing that preview a useful step before spending credits.
