Import footage and find candidate moments
FragCut accepts MP4, MOV, WebM, and MKV uploads, as well as Twitch URLs, with footage up to four hours long. Its highlight detector looks for kills, aces, clutches, and funny interactions. The homepage advertises five to eight clips from one video, but the useful moments in a recording still determine what you will want to publish.
The publisher says its tuning favors FPS and MOBA games with distinctive audio cues, including Valorant, CS2, and League of Legends. Refine clips and assemble a montage
The tool creates vertical 9:16 clips for short-form social platforms. Its pricing page also lists horizontal 16:9 output. Automatic speech subtitles can be burned into the video, and the Fine-tune editor lets you switch them on or off before download.
You can adjust clip start and end times in the browser. The Montage maker combines selected clips into a video after you drag them into the order you want and use Auto Stitch. The homepage lists MP4 downloads at 1080 by 1920 pixels, H.264, and 30 frames per second for its vertical clips. Inspect subtitle names and the crop before posting a competitive match or a conversation with teammates.
Compare allowances and retention
The captured pricing page lists Creator at $19.99 per month with 30 clips, and Pro at $49.99 per month with unlimited clips. Unused Creator credits do not roll over. Both plans include the editor and montage features. The publisher estimates 15 to 30 minutes for local uploads and notes extra download time for Twitch imports; that estimate is not a processing-time guarantee.
The homepage states that source videos remain for 30 days and generated clips for 90 days. Download material you intend to keep. It also states that subscribers retain access through the current billing period after cancellation.
