Lection
Lection turns website content into structured rows. You describe the data you want to collect, then use its browser-based extraction workflow to prepare an export or a connected data pipeline. Its published examples include company directories, property listings, and stock screeners.
Extract listings and detail pages
Lection follows pagination, infinite scroll, and detail links. It also describes combining listings with their linked detail pages in one table. That matters when a directory displays a company name on its listing page but keeps other fields elsewhere.
You can download results as CSV, Excel, or JSON. The site also offers task-specific templates for exports such as repository stargazers, business search results, and video search metadata. These are starting points for particular extraction jobs; the examples shown on the homepage include illustrative data rather than proof of a completed customer project.
Send data into a recurring workflow
Lection lists destinations including Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, and Supabase, alongside automation services and custom webhooks. Scheduled cloud runs can continue with your browser closed. A directory-monitoring workflow can therefore collect rows on a schedule and send its output to the place where you maintain the dataset.
Destination availability depends on the plan. The Free tier lists email delivery, Standard includes Google Sheets and webhooks, and Pro lists all destinations. Choose a tier around the destination and run frequency you need, rather than assuming every integration comes with the free account.
Plan limits and practical checks
The pricing page lists five cloud credits per month on Free, with one pipeline, ten pages per run, and seven-day run history. Standard and Pro increase those limits and permit more frequent runs. The displayed paid amounts are tied to yearly billing, so check billing frequency before purchasing.
Inspect a small export before scheduling repeated collection. Check that the fields you requested are present, that pagination reaches the expected records, and that a listing and its details have been combined correctly. Lection's own guidance acknowledges that public access still carries privacy and contractual responsibilities.
