KeyAPI
KeyAPI advertises a single REST API for collecting social-media and commerce data across more than twenty platforms. Its listed data includes profiles, posts, comments, video details, transcripts and product reviews. The service aims to give applications and AI agents a consistent access layer rather than a separate integration for each source.
Check the exact endpoint and the data rights
Coverage descriptions name YouTube transcripts, Reddit comment threads, TikTok creator information, Amazon reviews and LinkedIn company profiles. Those listings are vendor claims about available endpoints. They do not establish official partnerships with the platforms or permission to reuse all retrieved data.
Check whether the endpoint supplies the fields, pagination and update dates your application needs. A public post and a private account record have different access implications. Before using results for training, lead generation or user profiling, review the source platform's rules and the applicable privacy obligations. The homepage poses compliance and model-training questions but the captured text does not provide their answers.
KeyAPI describes structured JSON responses and bearer-token authentication. Keep the key on the server side and scope access where the service allows it. Avoid exposing a paid data-access credential in a browser bundle.
Treat historical coverage as endpoint-specific
The site advertises live and historical data, including archives powered by EchoTik and trends extending up to 1,000 days. That description does not prove every platform or endpoint has that retention period. Ask which history is available for the actual query before building a time-series report.
Uptime and sub-500-millisecond latency figures are also vendor statements. Test a representative query and verify the service agreement if latency or availability affects your product. A clean JSON response can still contain incomplete or stale records, so retain timestamps and source identifiers alongside the results.
The homepage lists several additional platforms as coming soon. Do not treat those as current coverage without checking documentation.
Budget by credits and renewal dates
The visible free offer includes 100 credits expiring after three days. Elsewhere the site calls the offer 100 free API calls, but it does not define whether all endpoint calls consume one credit. Confirm that distinction before estimating a trial's size.
Basic is listed at $189 per month with 50,000 credits, Pro at $439 with 180,000, and Ultra at $779 with 400,000. The monthly descriptions say credits reset every 31 days; quarterly and annual billing are also advertised. Confirm the selected billing period and unused-credit treatment at checkout.
Pro and Ultra list higher rate limits and agent-oriented endpoints, but no numeric rate limit appears in the capture. Establish concurrency and retry behavior before unattended fetching. Start with a bounded query set, then compare credits consumed with the number of usable records returned.
