SlidesGo AI: Free Presentation Maker
From a topic to an editable deck
Slidesgo's AI Presentation Maker creates a presentation from a topic and supporting instructions. Its official product page describes setting the topic and theme, generating slide structure and visuals, then revising the result. It targets teaching, student projects and business presentations.
The published workflow has four stages: enter a topic, personalize the content, choose a design, and download the presentation. The editor supports changing text, colours and layouts before export. Treat the first result as a draft to review, especially when factual claims, lesson objectives or a business argument matter.
Export and image limitations
Presentations download as editable PPTX files. Slidesgo describes compatibility with PowerPoint and Google Slides, allowing further editing outside the generator. That export route is useful if the final deck needs to pass through an existing review or presentation process.
The product FAQ says uploading your own images is not currently available in the generator. It describes that capability as under development, not as an existing feature. If the presentation depends on a specific product photograph or diagram, plan how to add it after export rather than assuming the initial generation can accept it.
A useful first evaluation would be a short presentation on a topic you know well. State the audience and purpose, inspect the outline, then edit a slide and export it. Open the file in your intended presentation software and check layout and text. This is suggested evaluation guidance, not a hands-on compatibility test.
Free use and Premium caps
Users must create an account and be logged in to generate and download presentations. The product FAQ offers up to three free presentations per month. Check whether that allowance fits a trial before planning several versions of a deck.
The pricing page labels Premium generation and downloads unlimited, but adds security limits of 150 AI generations and 150 template downloads per month. That footnote matters for a team producing presentations in volume. It also lists team invitations and institution-specific offers; confirm the terms appropriate to your organization.
Avoid choosing the tool solely by a claimed count of templates: the product page uses different counts for different collections. Evaluate the specific designs available to your account and check asset-use requirements before publishing a final deck.
