Bluedot

Records Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls from the browser tab without a bot joining, then produces a transcript, summary and action items.

What it does

Bluedot records meetings that run in a Chrome tab, such as Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and produces a transcript, AI summary and action items without a bot joining. It is for people who run sales calls, interviews, stand-ups or lectures and want reliable notes.

Key features

  • Records any browser-based video call directly from the tab, with no bot in the meeting
  • Automatic speaker labels on Google Meet, Teams and Zoom
  • Transcripts, AI summaries and action items after each recording
  • Option to start recording supported meetings automatically
  • Can also record in-person conversations from the browser

Use cases

  • Keeping notes of customer interviews without a visible recording bot
  • Sharing a summary and action items after a team stand-up
  • Recording a webinar or lecture that plays in a tab

Getting started

Install the extension, sign in to Bluedot, then start recording from the extension when your meeting tab is open, or enable automatic recording.

Good to know

A Bluedot account is required and recordings are stored on its service. Recording calls without a bot means participants may not notice, so tell them you are recording.
