Use cases

  • Recording an online lecture and getting a transcript afterward
  • Creating subtitles for a video you produced
  • Turning an interview recording into searchable text

Getting started

Use the extension to record your microphone or capture tab audio, then upload the recording in the SpeechText.AI app to transcribe it.

Good to know

The voice recorder works offline, but transcription happens on SpeechText.AI's service after you upload a file. Check that you have permission before recording other people.
