EU AI Act
What does “EU AI Act” mean?
EU AI Act: European Union law that regulates AI using a risk-based approach. It bans a small set of uses deemed unacceptable, imposes strict requirements on high-risk systems such as those used in hiring or credit, adds transparency duties for things like chatbots and deepfakes, and sets obligations for providers of general-purpose AI models. Its rules phase in over several years.

What is an example of “EU AI Act”?
Under the Act, people interacting with certain AI systems must generally be told they are dealing with AI rather than a human.
