SuperCompress MCP
Compress lengthy logs and other large text inputs before they enter a coding assistant’s working context.
Overview
SuperCompress provides a coding-agent MCP plugin and a separate Python interface for text compression. The plugin documents a compress_context tool for large inputs, such as a log dump or a long transcript. A developer can use it to make a long input easier to bring into a session, then compare the compressed result with the parts of the original that matter for the task.
Getting started
Follow the publisher’s setup for its npm proxy and coding-agent plugin. The project documents account linking and a separate Python package.
Things to know
Compression changes the input a model sees. Keep the original available for exact quotes, error messages, constraints or details that would change the outcome.
