Ask about a bounded document section

Readers can summarize a document, select a page range or highlight text for a narrower summary. The site also describes explaining selected terms and saving an explanation as a note. A focused question makes it easier to compare the answer with the original passage than a broad request for everything important.

Translation options include whole PDFs with preserved layout, selected pages and highlighted text. Scanned material needs OCR, or an image can be uploaded for translation. Inspect figures, numbers and terminology in the result before using it as a substitute for the source, particularly when the document affects a professional decision.

UPDF's paper tools search for academic papers, summarize them and retain selected papers in a library.
