What it does
Wandesk's App Workshop generates local applications from descriptions. The vendor says a generated app can include a React interface, backend API, and SQLite storage, with the UI, backend, and database running on the user's machine. Users can continue describing changes so the AI iterates on the app.
Apps can also perform AI tasks. Examples include automatically tagging ledger entries, summarizing notes, and continuing interactive fiction while consulting its lore. Apps created through the App Workshop can inherit this AI-calling capability.
