PandaOS is a local AI workstation for builders managing repositories, terminals, browsers, and connected applications. Its publisher describes a visual environment for coordinating work across those tools, rather than a code editor limited to one file. The product is in beta.
Keep projects and workflows together
The homepage describes switching between projects without losing terminal, browser, or agent state. Reusable workflows save recurring task arrangements, while an Atlas knowledge layer supplies persistent project context. The publisher presents examples such as reviewing a failed deployment or turning a support report into a proposed fix.
Those examples describe intended workflows, not independently verified unattended results. Connecting email, deployment, or database tools grants access with consequences beyond drafting code. Review the actual permissions and any proposed external action before allowing a workflow to run.
Decide who pays for model usage
The pricing page distinguishes Pro on your key from Pro with usage. The former uses a provider key or subscription you already pay for; the latter includes a monthly allowance. The listed beta prices show €15 per month for the key-based Pro plan and €25 for Pro with usage.
Community includes a one-time starting allowance, not a monthly refill. It also supports a user-supplied key. Confirm which connection a task uses before running repeated work: paying for PandaOS and paying the model provider can be separate costs.
Check retention and provider compatibility
The publisher lists five active shared artifacts and seven-day retention for Community. Paid plans advertise unlimited shared artifacts with links retained for a year. A public artifact link is different from a local project file, so check what you are publishing before sharing it.
PandaOS describes using official provider clients for subscription login and switching between connected accounts. Its own FAQ acknowledges that provider guidance for use outside native interfaces is unsettled. This description does not endorse bypassing limits or establish provider approval. Check current provider terms and authorized account access. Franklin has not audited the app's credential handling, memory implementation, or cross-tool execution.
