AutoResponder.ai: Chatbot for Automated Messaging
AutoResponder is an independent collection of apps for automatically replying to messages. The official site lists separate versions for WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, Signal and Viber. The publisher describes phone-based customization and directs downloads to Google Play; this is not a claim that the apps are official products of those messenger companies.
Begin with explicit reply rules
The basic workflow is to create rules for incoming messages and choose the response. A simple out-of-office message can use one rule, while a larger setup can distinguish multiple incoming questions. Exact and similarity matching are listed in the Free plan.
The comparison also lists specific-contact controls, rule pauses, single or multiple replies and rule imports. These options matter when a reply should apply to only part of an inbox, or when the same person should not keep receiving an automatic response.
Before leaving a rule active, check it with representative messages and with text that should not match. A reply that is appropriate for a general opening question may be wrong for a complaint, an exception or a conversation already being handled by a person. Those are evaluation suggestions, not results from testing the app.
Choose whether AI is needed
The publisher lists connections to ChatGPT, Gemini, Dialogflow, a web server and Tasker. These connections allow a different workflow from a fixed response: messages can be processed elsewhere or trigger configured actions.
The pricing table places those connections in PRO rather than the base Free column. Do not assume downloading a free app includes unlimited external AI use. The captured pages do not explain every connected provider's credentials, usage costs or data-handling arrangements, so confirm those separately before forwarding customer conversations.
For predictable answers, a rule-based response may be easier to inspect than an AI-generated one. Decide which questions can be automated and when a person should take over before expanding the rules.
Check the app-specific allowance
The base Free plan lists 500 daily replies and unlimited rules. PRO lists unlimited daily replies, pattern matching, schedules, conditions and the external connections, along with removal of ads and watermarks.
The publisher also says many PRO features have an in-app Use for free option. That is not a documented guarantee that every premium feature is permanently free. Subscription happens inside each app, and the exact price depends on country. Check the selected messenger version and its current terms rather than applying one displayed annual equivalent to every user.
